20 years. Two different paths. One Canadian dream. COOL DREAMS is the story of two boys who dreamed of making it to the NHL despite coming from non-traditional hockey backgrounds. This inspiring tale of achievement shows how a traditionally all-white sport is continuing to evolve and is helping to unify an increasingly diverse society through a shared love of ‘Canada’s game’. At a time when communities across North America are desperate for news that is positive and uplifting, COOL DREAMS tells a story that highlights the best of both hockey, and community.
In 1968 a maverick lawyer named Alan Borovoy - a civil liberties crusader whose legendary legal career spanned more than 40 years, took the helm of the Canadian Civil Liberties Association (CCLA). Borovoy’s trailblazing mission as a civil rights activist led to the creation and protection of civic rights for all Canadians.
Borovoy’s early work at the CCLA has ensured that human rights issues ranging from ongoing concerns about the use and abuse of police power, to more recent issues regarding privacy laws and technology, are championed through a robust and independent legal process. In laying the foundation for our civil rights and freedoms, Borovoy changed the course of Canadian history.
Mason’s story is not a story about a young man with cerebral palsy who is boxing, it’s a story about a young boxer who is living with cerebral palsy. His diagnosis is a part of who he is, but it does not define his entire being. Mason was welcomed into his gym as a young man interested in boxing – and he was treated as a boxer, not as someone who was different, stressing the importance of inclusion and allowing everyone to have a voice.
A provocative documentary that encapsulates contemporary perspectives of critical issues affecting Israel today. Through the lens of experts, military strategists, “start-up-Nation" leaders, journalists and current and former political leaders, The Future of Israel and its Defenders focuses on internal and external existential threats to the safety and security of the Jewish State; a behind-the-scenes look at peacemaking from the architects of the Abraham Accords and the challenge of peace with the Palestinians; the violent threat of Antisemitism, Holocaust distortion and its ideological assault on the Jewish State and the path forward as Israel turns 75.
The End of the Innocence is an emotionally shattering film that details the horrific Hamas lead attack that occurred on October 7th, 2023.
In the face of a global campaign of denial, distortion, and complicity against Israel, the film reveals the true nature of the assault and the way Israel was forced to respond.
